The old Tippins restaurant at 71st/Memorial was briefly 'Suki,' some kind of hybrid Oriental/Occidental eatery. With no more than four cars in the lot at any time, it was just a matter of time before it went kaput. A sign was on the front door for awhile announcing a remodel, but is now gone. Wethinks that phonetically 'Suki's' sounded too much like 'suck-ees.'
